All The stuff that Matters

I see all of my people hurting...

I cry for all my people hurting because I know...

We are in dire need of a solution...

But what is the solution ?...

The system is set up to fail us....

Afraid of us so they kill us...

Mothers , Fathers , Brothers, Sisters...

We all have a right to LIVE...

We have the right to be innocent until proven guilty...

But these cops become the judge , jury, and executer...

We are not always right...

But Only God can judge me...

And although all lives matter...

Like Kanye said i'mma let y'all finish BUT...

It's the black lives that seemed to go unnoticed...

We are angry... We are tired of being quiet...

Let them yell and let them riot !...

We need to stop the violence against each other yes we know this...

But the system isn't doing anything either to control this...

You got liquors stores in the hoods...

Schools that don't do us any good...

Because an educated brother in a hood...

Is still a nigga that's up to no good !...

How do you fix the gap between black and blue....

When I'm afraid to be arrested, because 9x's out of 10 I'll be black and blue ?

How do you tell me killing a black man is justified?

I call it genocide...

Take my father give him life in jail...

With intent to sell....

Murderers and corrupt officials get slaps on da wrist...

Yes my people are pissed !...

Kill my brother and tell me he he tried to bail....

Kill my sister and tell me she hung herself...

You are breaking up families, but you already know this...

You did it for centuries... So you already know the game...

Rape and sexualize our beautiful black women !

We are more than breast , ass , and thighs...

Rapist , Pedophiles , and Murderers don't do hard time in jail... They get 6 months in a solitary cell...

The drug dealers...they lock em under the jail...

What the system tells me is that these rapist, Pedophiles, and serial killers can change.

But if you look up the statistics most of these people are middle aged white men with no shame.

I'm Hip to the game...

It's a damn shame that my people have to die for a cause...

We did that so many years ago

Back when Martin Luther King had a dream...

Back when Malcolm X said " If your not ready to die for it, put the word freedom out of your vocabulary!"

Why in this new age , do we have to revert back to old ways ?

No exodus and no I'm not Moses...but let my people go !

All black people know is religion when it comes to things like this...

So when that white boy killed 9 black people in a church, praying over things like this...

Yes we were pissed.

That his hands weren't up and cops didn't shoot and that he got to wear a chest vest.

That's why my people protest.

Because all lives don't matter at least that's what the system is showing me.

I'm tired of being oppressed...

I'm tired of being stressed...

They put us against each other years ago

That's why black people cant seem to grow.

All this other stuff going on is to keep your mind gone....

Let people use what bathrooms they like...

White is not the only color that's right

And blue isn't either...

It's time to make our people believers...

When I go to a job interview I have to "Turn off my black"

What other race do you know that has to do that ?

For years you have taken our religion, culture, ideas, looks and now yet again our lives...

I will not continue to be quiet and let this go...

I will keep screaming let my people go...

I will keep screaming give my people a chance to grow...

It's something I want to let the president , the media , the police , and every body know..
