The Shape Of Things To Come

Why are we, the public, standing aside and letting this happen? Why aren't we up in arms, pitchforks and torches aflame whilst storming the palace of Westminster?

The Tories, true to form, have once again given the workers of this nation the biggest, "Fuck You!", middle finger and we have to seemingly accept it. Cheers broke out in parliament when the bill by the opposition was overturned to give public sector workers a pay rise. What sort of twisted pieces of shit actually break out into laughter when it's decided that nurses aren't going to get a pay rise?

You know, those public sector workers who care for those in hospital on a daily basis. You know, those public sector workers who run into burning buildings, (remember Grenfell Tower? It wasn't THAT long ago!) and save lives. You know, those public sector workers who keep our streets safe for everyone. They have decided that their jobs aren't worth jack! Stick them up your arses basically! No, they're not entitled to a pay rise but yet the already wealthy beyond measure, non-elected Queen is. The DUP get a cool handout too. So, if you're an establishment flunky, you're guaranteed to get preferential treatment.

What level of obscene bullshit is this? Is this just a taste of what is to come? Nothing but contempt for those who do the most difficult jobs in this country, those that keep this nation ticking over. Occupations that command pride, respect and admiration from society.

I said that after the last election I doubt this country has got another 5 years of Tory rule left in it, and I fear I'll be proven right! 😤
