my life is just a long instrumental

no lyrics, no words, no hums

nothing but the beat

the metronome matches my heartbeat

and the symphony crescendos and crashes

just like I do when the rainfalls

and the clouds are grey

and they never seem to go away.

..they never go away

just like the music in my instrumental

lodged deep within my mental
