Because people write millions of projects in Werdsmith, we spend a lot of money storing and backing up that data.

Many of our features are cutting-edge and also cost a lot to run, which is why we can’t offer them for free.

That said, it’s really important to us that people can use the app regardless of their ability to pay. That’s why we have the most generous free tier of any app for writers. You can use the basic version of the app forever without paying anything.
