Ghostwriter Credits

Every month, you get a certain amount of credits to use Ghostwriter. We’ve created this system because Ghostwriter is meant to augment your writing process, not write for you.

Also, the technology is cutting-edge and extremely expensive to operate. Having a fair credits system allows us to give everyone access to these features.

If you have a Werdsmith membership, we give you extra credits every month.

If not, we give you a small number of free credits so you can try integrating Ghostwriter into your writing process and see the benefits.

These credits reset on the first day of every month, and they don't roll over. Like phone credits, you can only use these credits while you're a member. If you cancel your membership, you lose any extra credits.

To give you an example of how it works, here's an imaginary scenario:

• On January 1 you download Werdsmith.
• You have 30 free prompts to use for the month. You use 10 prompts.
• On January 10 you purchase the 150 prompt plan. You now have 140 prompts remaining for January.
• For the rest of January, you use 50 more prompts.
• On February 1, your prompts are reset to 150.
• You cancel your plan and it expires on Feb 10.
• Before February 10 you use 90 prompts.
• On February 11, your limit is now 30. You've already used 90 prompts in February, so you have 0 left.
• On March 1 your prompts are reset to 30.
