Covers

You can create a cover for each of your projects. Covers make your projects feel more real, and help you easily identify them in your projects list.

Pick colors, fonts and layouts to match whatever you're writing. This feature is free for all users.

Creating covers

To create a cover, open your project, tap the "..." menu, then choose "Cover".

If you try to create a cover for a document in the Ideas section, you'll be prompted to move it to the Projects section.

Covers are only shown for projects. If you move a project back to the Ideas section, its cover is saved and will reappear when you move it back to Projects.

Any edits you make to your cover are saved automatically. You can come back and edit your cover at any time.

Add your name

The Author tab lets you show your name on the cover. You'll need a free Werdsmith account to do this.

Your author name comes from your account. Updating it changes the name on all your covers.
