Delete Account

Deleting your Werdsmith account permanently deletes the account and the writing and data stored in it. All Werdsmith data except exported backups will be removed from your device.

This cannot be undone. Werdsmith won’t be able to restore your account or your data after you delete your account.

Before deleting your account

We strongly recommend that you:

1. Export your data and save the backup somewhere you control.
2. Cancel your membership if you don’t want it to renew.
3. Make sure you can access your passkey or account email so we can verify your identity.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store membership. Apple manages the membership separately, and it may continue to renew until you cancel it.

Deleting the app

Deleting the Werdsmith app is different from deleting your account.

Deleting the app removes local data from that device. It doesn’t delete your Werdsmith account or cancel your membership.
