Saving

Werdsmith saves your writing automatically as you write and whenever you leave the app. There’s no save button, and no need to remember to save your work.

Where your writing is saved

• Your writing is stored on your device.
• When you create a free Werdsmith account, we store a copy of your writing in your account.
• If you have iCloud enabled, we store a backup of your writing in iCloud.

Keep your writing safe

We strongly recommend creating a free Werdsmith account. This makes it much easier to recover your writing if you lose or change your device.

If you already have an account, we recommend adding a passkey. This means that if you lose access to your email, you can still access your data using your passkey.

Please make sure you update your account details if your email address changes.
