Fonts

Werdsmith is a distraction-free writing studio, not a word processor. Our goal is to help you focus on writing, without having to worry about things like formatting, spacing, font sizes, etc.

Because of this, we don’t have multiple fonts to choose from. Instead, the app chooses fonts and font sizes based on what you’re writing. For example, in Novel Mode, the app makes your text a small serif font and your chapter headings a large sans-serif font. You can read more about each writing mode.

If you prefer smaller fonts, you can choose an option for this on the Studio page on your profile. The app also respects any larger text size you set in Settings (search for "Larger Text" in the Settings app).

If you need to customize the way your document looks in detail, we recommend exporting the document to a word processing application for a richer set of formatting features.
