Writing can be hard. Werdsmith’s goal is to make it easier. That's why we’ve created Ghostwriter, a cutting-edge writing tool that helps you get inspired, break through writer’s block and focus on your writing.

Here’s how it can help:

The blank page

Starting with a blank page can be daunting. Now, when you start a new project, tap Prompt above the keyboard for a word of inspiration. You can then start a focus timer, which hides all distractions and prompts you to write non-stop for the length of time you choose. This is a great way to get something onto the page.

Writer's block

Struggling to find the right way to end a sentence, or don’t know what to say next? Ghostwriter can write the end of your sentence, or the next sentence for you, all in your unique writing style.

If you don’t like a prompt, you can generate a new one. Often these prompts can suggest ideas for plot, character and where to take your writing next. It’s like having a collaborator that knows your writing intimately.

Formatting

Formatting wastes a writer’s energy and distracts from the work of writing. Ghostwriter can do this work for you - adding chapter numbers, titles and breaks for novels, and automatically formatting screenplays.
